Vivekananda Vidyavardhaka Sangha R. Puttur adopted Shatabdi Vidyalaya Samithi , which had been founded by the late Shri Gopala Narayana Bhide in 1969. The institution was renamed as Vivekananda Educational Institutions Mundaje in 2018 after it was adopted. The institution is located between Charmardi and Ujire which is covered by greenery.The institution was founded in order to provide qualitative education to rural poor students by establishing Mundaje High school Mundaje . The high school was upgraded to PU College in the year 1991. Saraswati English Medium school was included in 1994. Though it is a rural institution, all basic facilities are provided to the students with a good study atmosphere encouraging them to get qualitative education focusing on development of patriotism and respecting the Indian culture and heritage.
